Acceptable Use Policy

v4vm is built to host whatever you legitimately need to host. To keep the network fast and reputable for everyone, the following are prohibited:

Hard nope

• Anything illegal where you, we, or your users are.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Reports go straight to law enforcement and the account is terminated immediately.
• Phishing, malware distribution, command-and-control servers for botnets.
• Network abuse: port scanning at scale, DDoS attacks, spoofed-source traffic.
• Spam — unsolicited bulk email, SMS, IM. Outbound port 25 is rate-limited.

Network

• Bandwidth is metered per plan. Overage is billed at the rate listed in your product page; we'll email before you hit it.
• Sustained 100% network utilization for >72 hours requires a chat with us first.

Resource use

• You can use 100% of your allocated CPU, RAM, and disk. We don't shape.
• Cryptocurrency mining is allowed if you're paying for the resources you use, and only on plans that explicitly permit it.

Reporting abuse

See abuse from a v4vm IP? Email [email protected]with logs (timestamps, source IPs, packet captures). We respond within 24 hours.
